A beautiful archetypal English market town on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales. Masham's market square is possibly the best example of this rural feature anywhere. I have been a frequent visitor to Masham for 35 years, which must reflect my love for the place. It’s perfect for relaxing, walking, pubs, shops. The bedrooms are all lovely and the beds comfy. It’s clean, warm and has enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The hosts are great and very responsive. They also send you lots of info on what’s available locally and a little further afield but we just park up the car and chill in Masham as it’s lovely as are the people. The information office have good walking leaflets, all starting from the town centre. Masham has all the shops you need to buy local food and a couple of good pubs.
