Room was very spacious , they kindly arranged for us to have the adjoining room for the family , perfect! Bathroom all good and clean , nice decor, in all very happy. We ate dinner and breakfast in the Inn , everyones meal was very good and breakfast was more that ample portions.. the host and staff all very accommodating , helpful and polite- in making ones stay comfortable indeed. In all a wonderful overnight experience and stay at the George Inn, thoroughly recommend it .

Amazing hospitality!! Staff were nice, room was clean and big enough. Breakfast was included and I enjoyed them every morning during my stay. I will come back again for sure.

We loved everything – both the location and the accommodation itself. Anete and Stuart had thought of everything, right down to the smallest details. It truly felt like home. We're very grateful for the opportunity to leave our luggage until the evening, which allowed us to fully enjoy Glastonbury as a town. Thank you, Anete and Stuart, for your wonderful hospitality.     We found Meare a very clean, quiet village, central to lots of places of interest. We spent 2 days there and managed to visit, Glastonbury, Wookey hole, Cheddar Gorge, Frome, Burrow beach and Weston-super-Mare.
