Although I had arranged in advance with ABSA Bank what my likely expenses would be in the UK, I had difficulty using the credit card on arrival. Nikki, the receptionist, was really laid-back while I phoned my bank in South Africa to get my arrangement sorted. Eventually, I did and from that moment onwards, everything worked smoothly

    Spotlessly clean accommodation with own bathroom, plenty of storage and tea and coffee making facilities. Quiet, pretty spot with walks into Cannock Chase, views of deer in the field beyond from the window, amazing breakfast and friendly and helpful host.

    Our Milford stopover was part of a longer drive to the Lake District from Cornwall. Just the right place. The access to Cannock Chase right by the bnb was perfect for giving our dogs a run on arrival and before we left.
