We went for a lovely walk along the river.Areas to sit and enjoy the countryside.Everyone was friendly and said hello when passing . We visited New Alresford as we were going on the Watercress Line for the Christmas Illuminations experience. The town itself is small but beautiful and we enjoyed a little stroll around despite the fact that Covid restrictions are in place.Guest review byPaulaPortugal

Our host, Jen, kept us well informed, especially when my arrival plans changed. The house is located close to the centre of New Alresford and convenient for nearby attractions such as Jane Austen's House, the Watercress Line and Grange Opera Festival. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a great location. The bar area has a great selection of beers at reasonable prices. The food here is of a high standard, I had the lamb which was very tasty. The town of New Alresford is well worth a visit or the hotel can be used as a base to visit the area.
