We have always liked Newcastle Emlyn.
We have always liked Newcastle Emlyn. The prople are very friendly and there are plenty of shops and places to eat. Harrison's, in my opinion, does the best brunch around. You can also find good food at the Bunch of Grapes a little further down the road. Our favorite Indian is Moe's Spice but you could also try Moonlight Indian. There are also 2 Chinese takeaway restaurants, Super Garden, which is more central, and China Kitchen. You are only about 15 miles to the coast town of Cardigan and the Cardigan Bay area. Lovely little castle and grounds.

A great place for veggies/ vegans. The Riverside Cafe is veggie/ vegan with home- made food,all delicious. Lots of other good places to eat,too. Interesting independant shops with arts & crafts,antiques and a great health food shop which is really well-stocked. 3 supermarkets,too of varying sizes,so you can get all you need.
