The accommodation at Prestonfield House and the quality of service is out of this world. From the rooms, decor, setting and grounds to the quality of the service, food and staff, I would say a rating of 10/10 is too low. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it will go down as a special moment in our memories. And we are definitely planning to return.

We always stay here when visiting family. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The room is always spotlessly clean and is very comfortable. Being close to a bus stop makes it easy to get around and there’s a nice restaurant attached to the hotel.

Lovely renovated room overlooking the garden. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Free parking on the side street with multiple bus services to the center of town. Staff went out of their way to make sure that everything was taken care of.

Beautiful castle, the room and bathroom were amazing, particularly the bed! It was clean and confortable. The spot with forest around is pretty. The spa was very nice too. Good breakfast, and the 5 course dinner, which I had booked with the room, so delicious! The staff is skillful and the service very good. I really felt like a princess during my stay, it was exactly what I was looking for!
