Very pretty part of Porthcawl away from the main town with a beautiful stretch of coastline. The Rest Bay Café is excellent and the Surf School provides teaching and hiring of boards. Porthcawl is a classic Welsh seaside town with great places to eat, recommend Jaipur and Saltwater Inn. There are plenty of shops and cafés in the small town.
