The breakfast was lovely, nice and light but filling. Fresh breads and croissants, yoghurts, fresh juice, cheese and cold eats, cereals. The whole hotel smelt wonderful. Large comfy beds. Plenty of parking nearby that you can book or pay when you are there. beautifully decorated.

What a great location! We stopped here on the first night of our Road Trip and it was one of the highlights of the trip. The location is outstanding and great for people who love hiking. We ate in the restaurant and the food was really good. My kids enjoyed everything about the place. After I left I realised I had left my wedding ring in the room and was already in Devon at this point. They kindly arranged to post it to my home address asap and didn't even want me to pay for postage. Fantastic stay and very nice staff. Beds super comfy

The best thing is definitely the hotel staff. I was travelling for work and had to extend my stay late the night before, this included having to move to another room as mine was booked, the hotel staff were very friendly and organised it quickly. They even offered to move my bags to another room so that I could go to work first thing in the morning without having to worry about my luggage. When I came back from work I would arrive at the end of the dinner hour (which, by the way, was always delicious) and they offered to prepare whatever I wanted from the menu so that I wouldn't have to go without eating. I am very grateful for the very understanding and humane treatment I received. I highly recommend staying at this establishment.
