The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and cosy, nice bed but soft pillows but with a bit of mixing with my partner we sleep well.

The chalet we was in was clean and tidy well worth the money. The location was perfect my partner enjoyed the 4 lakes you had and would like to book again in the spring. The fields were amazing for the dog he loved running around chasing his ball.

Lovely location just out of Portloe. The owners went out of their way to ensure we could get to and from Portloe in their car. I highly recommend booking this accommodation for your stay in this area. Breakfast was lovely and the owners very friendly.

We loved everything about our stay at Hendra Barns. A beautiful rural property consisting of several stone farmhouses, offering various types of accommodation. We stayed in the 2 bedroom portion of the large farmhouse. It was open and spacious, with a lovely well equipped country kitchen, great oven, dryer and washing machine. Upstairs the beds were very comfy and the decor delightful. Outside we shared a spacious, manicured lawn, rotunda and a lake. Our helpful hosts were also kind enough to provide, fresh milk, tea, jam, scones and Cornish clotted cream, the perfect place to stay!

The first reaction we had, when we visited the house was "WOW", we just could not believe that this is a holiday rental home. It seems as if the owner just stepped out of this beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped and quirky home. Our first choice was which bedrooms to use which are themed (garden, oriental, maps) and then which comfy char or sofa to lounge on. The kitchen is fully equipped even with copper cookingpots and the traditional blue and white hand painted dishes, you can sit out in the garden and explore cornwall from this very central location. The rooms are filled with knickknacks, books (fantasy and others!), DVDs. We really loved it here and were sad to leave. There is a big supermarket 5 minutes by car away and you can walk into Truro centre in 10-15 minutes. Thanks to our lovely hosts Barbara and Peter for this opportunity!

I can’t recommend Grace cottage highly enough, although I would really want to keep it as a secret and not make it too much popular among Cornwall’s travelers :-) What makes the stay here so special is not only the Cottage itself but also the location overlooking St Probus Church and the Nick, who’s the nicest and most thoughtful host. I will definitely be back and make sure to spend at least 3 nights here, as we enjoyed so much the sense of peace and joy of this house. it is truly a gem.
