PhilippinesThe staff were really nice and friendly, especially to the chef who was accommodating . Breakfast was really good and powered us through our hike to Scafell. Had a lovely dinner and the pub is just downstairs so very convenient. Overall very good value for money and a comfortable stay.

IndiaService itself was exceptional 👏 morning breakfast was great, had choices on breakfast menu to choose from. We hot milk for our toddler hr is fussy eater so quite difficult to make him eat anything.. room was clean and tidy, all the staffs were caring and they never said NO to your request, which is a sign of good customer service. All together happy about stay here... we loved the route to the hotel, very scenic and adventurous route.

There are 3 places to eat within walking distance of where we stayed.
It is a trek to the nearest shop for essentials, so make sure you get everything you need when you're out.

A lovely area. Beautiful views. Lots to see and do if you know where to look. If you enjoy good walks then definitely a good place to be. Castle is a must visit as is the railway and the museum. Roman bath house is a good walk and plenty of blackberry bushes. People are lovely. We saw a craft fayre which was nice. Other good beaches in driving distance too. Our children loved it.

Beautiful location with lots of history within walking...
Beautiful location with lots of history within walking distance. The ratty train was also a lot of fun and took us to Eskdale where you can climb up to see a waterfall.
The Inn at Ravenglass had amazing food and we will definitely be going again!

I like the hotel my room and the cleanliness
But the staff is not helpful I traveled 2 hours from Yorkshire and the staff told me I can’t check in before 3 and I wait for my room nearly 3 hours just sitting on the chair and I booked 2 rooms me and my friends but they gave me 2 rooms in two different buildings I request them just manage our rooms to near each other but they say they can’t which make us very very sad 😭

Friendly people, great parking facilities.
Friendly people, great parking facilities. Plenty of local attractions despite being a small quiet and peaceful place.
And if you fancy a trip back in time, please visit the local post office, had to take photos.
Railway is exceptional, had a great train ride with a first class cream tea.
Felt relaxed and calm throughout the stay.

Having access to community dining, laundry and lounge was convenient and enjoyable. While the location of Ravenglass was a little isolated with no towns of note and absence of amenities the actual Muncaster Castle made up for it. The gardens were an absolute delight - even in the rain with very damp ground. It was one of the very few countryside or garden areas we heard birdlife. The bird shows were fabulous presented by friendly and knowledgeable staff.

We loved Ravenglass and the cabin was right in the Village Centre close to the 3 pubs/food places, close to the charming Ravenglass Eskdale railway which we made good use of. It was also well located for walking in the area, along the beach or into the hills. The cabin was super spacious, beautifully done up with excellent facilities.

Idilic location & super easy to find the cottage from the hotel where you collect the keys. Gorgeous views. Picnic benches and huge gardens were perfect for the sunny evenings. The cottage had everything that you would need for a stay, we only had 3 nights but would have loved longer or to come again next year!
