What a super place for a relaxing night away - we used the hot tub, chilled with a glass of wine. Didnt use wifi or turn the TV on ! the geese were lovely to watch am. Slept so well. Such a peaceful location.

It was perfect for a short stay. Toaster, microwave and kettle were provided. There were teabags, coffee and sugar on our arrival with a small jug of milk in the fridge, which we were very grateful for. The shower is really good and larger than normal.

The decor, garden, staff, and position were all superb. Close to restaurants and town centre. The room was warm and bed was comforyable. Loved the small breakfast table in the room and the excellent continental breakfast just made the whole stay brilliant will certainly be going again. The lights remote controlled plus the garden lights crested a wonderful ambience. Also the bottle of prosecco was a great added bonus.

Property was clean and equipped with everything you would need for a stay away from home. Located not too far from Hornsea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again. Host was very welcoming. We loved the little bird feeder on the window upstairs… had little birds popping in for a feed early morning. Nice touch with fresh flowers downstairs.

Everything was excellent. Food great and made to feel very welcome and comfortable. I could have stayed longer and would go back there in a heartbeat if I come that way again and would recommend it to anyone.

Made to feel welcome from walking in the door.

Made to feel welcome from walking in the door. If you want to change something on the menu they will do it. Also if you have an issue its dealt with. Home cooked food . Lovely staff that talk to you so you do not feel alone.

The accommodation was as described.

The accommodation was as described. The only downside was that the Inn was closed on a Mon & Tues so there was no evening meals available from the extensive menu. I think that the "no food" could have been made clearer prior to booking but there was the opportunity to cancel at a later stage. However, there were alternative venues within a short distance if required.

Staff were very friendly and food was good . Garden view room had no garden view - just two pots filled with weeds on the roof - though lovely outlook across the road . The balcony room - the lights didn’t work on the balcony - and again pots filled with weeds . Room size good , bathrobes / hair dryer etc provided . The only real downfall was staff talking in the pub until about 3am Saturday evening - so didn’t get much sleep ! The staff were extremely friendly and food good .
