Lovely setting, lovely room. Great having a sofa in the room to sit and watch tv in the evening. The owner was super helpful when i couldn't get my tv on, very responsive. Breakfast was self service and had plenty of choice with a fab view from the breakfast room. Parking too.

What an exceptional stay! The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for our trip. The 2.5 bathrooms were a huge plus for our group, and the kitchen had everything we needed – whether cooking in or ordering takeaways. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay at this 4-bedroom house near Rochdale Centre! The host was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The house was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all the essentials – from a fully stocked kitchen to comfy beds and fast Wi-Fi. The welcome chocolates and water were a lovely touch! While parking was slightly tricky, the location was convenient and quiet. It’s ideal for families or groups, offering great value for money. I missed my flight from Heathrow informed them that I am not coming today but will be there tomorrow morning. When we get there receptionist was busy on the phone and she knows we are standing there. She was on mobile not the hotel phone. Then one of the staff was watching also this and she came to the desk and tell her that customers are waiting Rather Appologising or saying hello She just asked what is the guest name Which I tell her she took the payment and gave is keys. When we went in room there was no milk and water which is complementary. Rang at reception no one turns up. Later we left as visiting family friends and came late night. Next day morning I rang and they provide us just milk but no water. They price we paid and the picture and facilities they are showing is completely different

I love the free parking.

I love the free parking. Their bed and spa is fabulous 👌 I love their menu with fish. The Privilege king rooms are fabulous with a bath and shower. The rooms are spacious and the staff are great and helpful. I have been visiting the hotel for a few years now and always happy to stay there on all of my trips to Manchester.

The property is a big 5 bedroom house in a good location but...

The property is a big 5 bedroom house in a good location but has only one toilet. I didn't like the way I was treated by the host at the end of my stay. Please whenever you check in to this property make sure everything is in order even the furniture to avoid you making extra payment at the end of your stay over the things you know nothing about. Make sure you open and close the cupboards to make sure the doors are well fixed. Check the blinds to be sure they are well fixed. Check the kitchen sink gota to make sure it's not blocked.

Another Northern town that needs & deserves more visitors?

Another Northern town that needs & deserves more visitors? The centre has a couple of very interesting sites (Victorian Arts & Crafts style Council Offices were beautiful inside). But they are on the edge of a vast, deserted square ringed by mainly pubs & bars which are closed/deserted during the daytime. Maybe things come alive after dark, but I doubt it...If you live in the crowded South of England, you might find this refreshing/alarming/interesting/disappointing, depending on your point of view. Only one way to find out..

My stay in Rochdale was brief. as my main plans were in Hebden bridge. The park next to the hotel was pretty & historocal. Over road was retail park. A short walk to local transport with many shops & food stops on the way.

This hotel and spa are only a couple of miles outside of Manchester City centre it’s spotless clean room great value for money everything there for your stay even a hairdryer in draw for use the staff are first class and I’ve attended a function here before Christmas and the food is lovely as well you can also park for free as well I’ll be staying again soon Thanks

Location was stunning especially being able to see across Manchester at night. The room was lovely and the right point between homely and having a hotel feel. Everything was super clean and was really impressed. Next time I want to stay at the stables as they looked impressive! Fantastic stay!

The hotel is undergoing major renovation & refurbishment & my review is based on that. The hotel is in a great location, it will lovely when it’s finished. However, the lack of heating in the bar area, lack of choice at breakfast did impact on my review.
