The people we encountered in and around Tunbridge Wells were without exception very pleasant and helpful, There are very interesting parts of Tunbridge Wells, especially Mount Ephraim are and it is convenient for a number of National Trust properties and other attractions including vineyards. I was able to sleep well because it was quiet and the mattress and pillows were good. The large bathroom had a lovely bathtub and a stained glass window. Not to the standards that I expected. The last time I stayed at the Spa was app 9 years ago. The property decor has deteriorated ever so much. The staff in all areas were perfect and the food we ordered in the evening in the Orangery was perfect. Great Chef. Two weeks before staying at The Spa hotel I was at The Royal Wells Hotel.
