A beautiful property with decor reminiscent of an antique shop or museum - lots of interesting things In cabinets and on the walls! The host met us on arrival and was very kind and friendly. Can recommend the Beijing Diner for dinner too!

Beautiful grounds surrounding the property Very high standard of finish to the building with every utensil you would ever need Everything very clean and fresh Definitely 5star quality We really enjoyed our stay convenient location as a base to explore the country side and local towns Very good selection of local pubs for evening dining and socialising But a wow factor when returning back to the property with the impact of the grounds and the quality of the property which was bright large and comfortable Made this break outstanding and very relaxing

This is an idyllic location for a stress free trip! The Shepherds hut was just perfect! The hot tub was a bonus and very much added to the weekend! I highly recommend a stay here!

Beautiful renovation of the stable. Very quiet and peaceful, loads of wildlife to be spotted. Loved the wood burner. Very warm and cosy heating system. Friendly owner, so helpful if needed, yet respectful of our privacy. The kitchen was fabulous and well stocked with cooking equipment, best we've seen on our holidays. Great gravel outdoor garden for in the summer months. Just in case anyone needs to know the floors have a step into the kitchen area from the living room and the hallway. Slight step into the bathroom and a full step down into the main bedroom. Also a step into the garden, our elderly dog couldn't quite manage it. Very steep metal step type of stairs up to the smaller bedrooms. It's down some winding single width roads, not the best road surfaces but to be expected in farmland. Good if you want a 20-30 mile drive to the seaside or the broads. We all loved our stay here, gave us time to unwind.

    Good location for my work visit.

    Good location for my work visit. Expecting a bit more for the room rate . I was surprised at the Cost as I could have stayed at premier inn for 25% less. I love old quirky hotels , original decor worked well. More biscuits selection, better toiletries. Room was clean but I was in the coach house ( if I had known that before i made booking , I might have chosen another hotel) . Recommend you ring first and find room option. Nicer to stay in main house . Bed too soft for me , room heat was thankfully helped by fan in room , I would have struggled otherwise . Food tbh was very average ( I chose wrong item) . Service friendly .

    The town itself looks nice with interesting shops.

    The town itself looks nice with interesting shops. However we sadly didn't have time to explore. A car is needed to get there I think. The hotel is nice and calm with some interesting rooms that highlight the history of the house.

    Arrived late afternoon early evening,so the shops were closed. Had a delightful meal in a Chinese restaurant. Food was excellent and good service. Good variety of shops done a bit of window shopping. Will definitely come back another time

    Interesting location , I loved the decor … was hoping to stay in main house but had room allocated in converted stables ( which were warm !! ) fan provided . I’ve stayed in many hotels , would have preferred old room in main house instead.
