Property was very clean and comfortable, easy to find and the host was very clear and helpful with directions and comfortably accommodated our visit. Everything as said in the description and exceeded our expectations. Very spacious rooms and a clean bathroom as well as the linen and towels. Will definitely visit again in future, would recommend to my friends and family too

Food excellent 👌 all the staff very friendly lovely homely feel to hotel we booked a lodge and then decided to move to hotel room not a problem . Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Lovely gardens and great for families we will be back

I was able to pull up outside to unload and get my elderly mum in without any problems. It was a lovely clean guest house and the facilities and rooms were perfect for our needs

Really clean and nicely arranged self contained unit. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming - left a few treats for us on arrival. Easy to get to a lot of places as long as you have transport.

We stayed one night at Phoenix Farm in the shepherds hut, and it was exactly what we hoped for. The hut was beautifully decorated, and well equipped, with an added bonus of cream teas upon arrival, and fresh eggs for sale just outside. There is wood stove with kindling and logs provided, which was handy when the hut gets chilly in the evenings, so that it quickly became cosy! It was fantastic to experience the ponies just outside our enclosed area, as well as two tiny lambs curled up by our door step when we woke in the morning, with their mum nearby.. which made the stay even more special and rememberable! Only critism would be that the shower was not hot enough, but due to the limitations of such accomodation it is understandable, and wouldn't be a problem in the summer.

Set in a lovely corner of a farm with farm animals roaming outside, there was scones jam and cream left for us which was a lovely touch. Overall a lovely stay

The 200yr old cottage was beautiful and loved its quirky...

The 200yr old cottage was beautiful and loved its quirky rooms. Had everything we needed and felt very comfortable and relaxed. Situated in an ideal position for exploring the stunning Bodmin moors, Goliath’s falls, siblyback lake and then the coasts to the south and north. Look forward to returning again. We ate at the Crows nest which was great and staff very friendly.
