Lovely area but as it is on a peninsular long drive to get anywhere else. Ferry to Falmouth very convenient tho. Huge council car park nearby and we bought a 7 day ticket for £35. Most places under staffed in June 2024. We were on b&b in hotel but options for eating elsewhere limited and expensive. But local fish and chips brilliant.Guest review byCarter - 10.0

Excellent place to stay and in easy reach and/or driveable distance to features such as tropical gardens and a nice exploratory walk through the wooded gardens leading to the beach. Also. a visit to the only city in Cornwalll, Truro was interesting with many features. This deceivingly small hotel, which isn't that small one, you get up the steps from the main road is a hidden gem. The hotel manager Karen is a delight to deal with and converse with as are an array of staff, particularly Talin the chap who works the restaurant.
