It was perfect - exactly what me and my partner were looking for to get away for a while, we loved how the self catering aspect made it able to have cosy date nights in as that’s exactly the type of people me and my partner are, as well as being secluded and private despite being a few steps away from the centre of seahouses where we would go for a few drinks in the evening. We will go nowhere else in the future - we will be back 100%!

The cottage was well equipped and very cosy. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage is in a perfect location for Seahouses village and local amenities. The heating and other facilities were really easy to use making our stay very relaxed and there were lots of extras like kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, handwash, air freshener etc.

Great location for discovering the east coast, if you like fish and chips your in for a treat, there is also pub food but a little expensive, the 4 days we were there we visited Alnwick gardens, the holy islands and Bamburgh castle al with in easy reach,

Seahouses is a great place to base yourselves for a visit to...

Seahouses is a great place to base yourselves for a visit to this area. Pick your times well and you can walk to Bamburgh along the lovely sandy beach with stunning views of the Farne islands and Lindisfarne in the distance. You have a choice of shops and can get your essentials from a couple of small supermarkets. You have a choice of eateries. Overall we could have stayed longer to explore more, but we now have a reason to return.

Lovely place with plenty of shop's and pubs and eating places. Lovely harbour where you can sit and look out to sea and just chill. Plenty of boat trips and a couple of golf courses nearby. The walks are out of this world with stunning scenery and people are friendly.

Seahouses is a beautiful location to stay in for travelling to lindisfarne and seeing bambugh castle. The beach and views are beautiful, the boat trip round the farne islands was amazing too :) second time visiting and will be back!

This is an amazing village filled with interesting shops and pubs and eating places. The harbour is beautiful and interesting, and the boats to the Farne Islands made it special. We were desperately sorry to have to leave and face reality once again. But we will be back!

Beautiful place. Bamborough Castle a must. Amble and Alnwick Castle fab Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands. Very dog friendly. Go across country to the Sycamore Gap, the countryside is breathtaking.

Car parking fees at seahouses main car park are shite ! Hotel is good value, a great bar/ restaurant, breakfasts are amazing, and lady who looks after it is fan bloody tasting! Best poached eggs and butter is to die for, [ according to my dietician] An amazing pub, quite quiet at this time of year, a massive contrast to summer, but Bar staff amazing,despite having to put up with a local leek club bloke who bored the tits off anyone in the pub about his renault ecu unit and brake block - feck me !,he needs to get out more !

Very comfortable bed and breakfast with very friendly and helpful hosts. I stayed with my daughter on a trip back from Scotland and we came via Seahouses to see the puffins on a Farne Islands boat trip. We loved meeting Donna and Paul. They are hosts who clearly greatly enjoyed meeting their guests. Huge and delicious breakfast. Good attention to guest preferences, eg. Donna provided me with a flask of oat milk for tea in the room when I said I was dairy intolerant. You never get this in hotels!

Everything! It’s a great place and it’s a lot more personal than nearby hotels. The host, Suzanne is absolute diamond and nothing is too much trouble. She’s one of those people where customers come first, second & third. You feel as though your custom is appreciated & she stands chatting with guests and taking a genuine interest in their needs & their break in Seahouses. You’ll come as a stranger and leave as a friend. Everything is just spot on … all thanks to this lovely, warm lady!

The location is absolutely amazing, and staying in a Seaview room made it even better. It was lovely to wake up and look out at the sea. The hotel is within walking distance of Seahouses, and we enjoyed walking along the beach to Bamburgh Castle. The breakfast was excellent, offering both continental and warm options. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had a great night’s sleep.
