This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel, standard remains as high. Tasteful design, friendly staff, great location if travel by car. Attention to details, from welcome drink, complimentary water and drinks in the fridge, to the heated towel hangers are all excellent.

Lovely large room with everything we needed in it. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Ate in the restaurant for 2 nights and the food was really nice. All the staff were so friendly.

We liked being able to stay in a hotel that was close to our family. It was a convenient location and we were happy with our room. The staff was very friendly. We loved being able to use the facilities...the driving range. The adventure golf was closed due to snow the day we wanted to play, but we hope to play next time we stay. We enjoyed being able to use the lounge area by the bar to hang out with a big group of family members.

74 years ago I returned to the UK on the Empire Orwell, and to live in Hamilton Road in Lincoln. In my search I could only pick the Orwell Hotel. The hotel lived up to my expectations, well used but clean and tidy. The staff were great providing a standard of service seldom seen in todays world. my visit would have been perfect had not the restaurant been closed

Stunning little cottage, beautiful decor, delightful gardens front & back, exceptionally comfortable bed, everything you need for a great stay. Lovely area for walks, pubs, visiting Aldeburgh, Woodbridge, etc... There is some occasional traffic noise on the country road where property is but very, very quiet from 10 pm ish so a great nights sleep & able to have windows open. Paul, our great host, provided all relevant information & provided lovely touches, such as fresh flowers, goodies & drinks if required. Thank you Paul. We hope to return when we next visit family.

Lovely, quaint little village, check out the old Post Office...

Lovely, quaint little village, check out the old Post Office and phone box (it takes you back in time). The Sorrel Horse serves excellent food. We had chicken and fish goujons. Homemade in crispy batter...HMMMMM. Very friendly staff. We didnt see the church as we were only there one night and the weather was bad.
