It was a very last minute booking for an early morning flight from T5 Heathrow but perfect. Nice simple clean and comfortable room and bed and good shared bathroom. £25 shuttle to airport in the morning and the host was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend for a short stay for Heathrow flights.

The Heathrow South Apartments by Charles Hope, is phenomenal! I loved that it's situated right in the middle of the City Centre, and had all the major shops and restaurants around. First of all, I would like to highlight the great attention received by Eva, the person who cleans the rooms. Ana is an incredible person who treated my 3 year old son like a grandmother, my son, when we returned to the hotel, only looked for Ana, she also treated our dog great, because one day we had to leave her for a few hours and when we returned, she had put food, drink and arranged her resting place, it was incredible. but Ana has something for everyone and for us she gave us some incredible tips for our visit to legoland and offered us smiles and care throughout our stay and the truth is that we were sad to leave to go back to our lives as we appreciated so much love. when you arrive, they give you a welcome drink and it is formidable. The staff at the reception, bar and restaurant are very helpful and will help you with any queries you may have. The location is perfect, close to the centre of Winsor and a host of restaurants. The cleanliness is very good. Electric car charger available. We would like to thank all the staff for the way they treated us and especially Eva for the care she gave us.

Staines, like most towns in the UK is suffering from decline of the traditional high street. This is mainly due to out of town shopping centres and large supermarkets. Very good market in the high street on a Saturday.

Staines was close to the attractions we wished to visit (Legoland and Chessington) and had a range of takeaways, restaurants and shops near to our accommodation. Parking was available locally and it made a good base for travel.

Well located for access to from M25/M3/Heathrow.

Well located for access to from M25/M3/Heathrow. It was a good base for a 2 day visit to Windsor & then Twickenham. Trains run regularly to both. Town was well facilitated with shops, food outlets both major and independent businesses

Lovely location near the river Thames which was nice to walk by in the morning and evenings. Good local area with shops and restaurants and the train station goes straight into London. Really easy to access nearby transport links and Heathrow airport too.

We stayed in Staines because it's close to Windsor and we...

We stayed in Staines because it's close to Windsor and we were visiting the castle. The view of the river Thames from our hotel (The Swan) was lovely. It was interesting to watch so many different boats, kayaks and barges passing by. We went for a short walk around the hotel and everything looked clean and very serene.

Hotel very clean and tidy. Nice bar and patio area overlooking the river Thames. Very comfy bed, quilt and pillows. All clean and fresh. Large bathroom with large walk in shower, all recently refurbished. Stains town centre a short walk away. River wal goes right past the back of the hotel along the river bank

Friendly staff on check in, room very nicely appointed with comfortable bed and great all round pub for dinner and a few drinks. Even though it’s a pub, we didn’t notice any noise. Perfect for a one night stopover between flights, given only 10-15mins from Heathrow but so much nicer than an airport hotel.
