On check in staff were not very helpful just gave us the key and that was it no information on breakfast etc. Soon as we walked in the room it had a funny smell to it. Only one Bath towel provided. At breakfast no staff about to ask where to go what to do etc.Guest review byJessUnited Kingdom

Choice of breakfast cooked and continental, very tasty and well presented. Large areas in bar and restaurant , great decor, Room was quiet and all mod cons, with excellent bathroom and TV, and outside garden feature with small Lake and nesting Duck, certainly will return when in the area. I liked the walk in shower rather than a shower over a bath. The room was also really quiet, so often hotels are located on busy roads. Dinner was excellent, i can't eat potatoes and the dish i picked contained potatoes however the chief happily adapted the recipe to produce a really tasty curry without any potato- greatly appreciated. It was all a bit last minute due to a family emergency so arrived after midnight. Thats was catered for. good nights sleep, great breakfast in the morning and back to hospital with no fuss.
