This was a beautiful stately and perfectly appointed place to stay. We consider our accommodation choices carefully when choosing them as they contribute to our overall travel experience. This property was easily a 10 out of 10 on all levels. The staff were helpful. The room was fantastic. The bed was comfortable. The food was delicious. It was easy to park our car. The grounds were perfectly kept and the manner itself had been kept in pristine condition. I will also add that the staff were very helpful and very polite. I would recommend this property to anyone who considers their accommodation as part of their journey.

This city ticked all the boxes for me. It is ideally situated on the River Avon, is very picturesque in a natural way, is easy to walk around, and is full of historical interest. I also discovered a great 1940s style Cafe to round off my history tour.

We like the location on the river and all the historic buildings. We have visited Stratford many times before and so did not visit the buildings this time, we had tickets Measure for Measure at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The production was very good, as always. There are various walking tours of the town on offer which would give one an idea of the important buildings to visit. One could do this first and then decide which to return to for a more in depth visit. Walks by the river are very pleasant.

Stratford-upon-Avon was - you might be aware - the birthplace of the great bard, William Shakespeare. It contains such delights as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, the birthplace of William Shakespeare's wife, William Shakespeare's school, and the site of William Shakespeare's house later in life. It's a great place to visit, if you want to see the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Once you've covered that, you've pretty much seen all the town has to offer...

Ashgrove House is very close to Stratford upon Avon town centre. Very convenient to many restaurants and sightseeing of Shakespears' birthplace. The room was exceptional with all necessary facilities. Breakfast was brought to our room as they don't have visitor breakfast room or lounge. Very good breakfast chosen the night before and brought to the room on time. Lovely, friendly owner and very helpful. Car park was near by and safe.
