Very friendly hosts. Gorgeous new house with lovely bedrooms. Underfloor heating in the bathroom (we would love that bathroom in our house!). Sitting out on the balcony with a cup of tea. Fabulous breakfast...those berries!! Quiet and leafy location.

Heatherbank Guest House was idyllic - welcoming and so perfectly quaint. It was a bit off the beaten path, but certainly worth it. Aside from our booked room, which was so cosy - the lounge area provided another great spot to enjoy. Breakfast was exceptional. Couldn't ask for any better. Would certainly recommend a stay here.

A highlight of our trip; this hotel is a gem. Our bedroom was sea facing and huge. Probably the biggest super king bed we’ve ever had in a hotel. The room had its own separate sitting room with another massive TV (the bedroom already had one- so maybe if you have two people wanting to watch something different that would work?) The view of the lighthouse and the mountains behind it from our bedroom was breathtaking. Try and book either room number 7 or 9, which apparently are the bigger sea facing rooms. There was a huge variety of teas and coffee‘s in the room. The bed was ultra comfortable the room was quiet. There was a massive old bathroom, with separate bath and shower. Just down the road you have the famous castle surrounded by water when the tide is in. The Inn is in a small, friendly village, which makes it quiet and easy to walk around. The hotel has a garden all the way down to the sea. Another real surprise was the quality and quantity of the food. Dinner was extremely reasonably priced and fantastic with all the local favorites. And massive cooked breakfast! Staff were consistently friendly and attentive throughout. Just wish our stay was longer than one night. Much preferred it to the crowded and over priced Skye!
