I absolutely LOVED the water pressure of this motel. Accommodations are simple, and can appear to some outdated, however it provides basic comfort you need for a few or some days of stay. Beds were comfortable, room clean and spacious. Extra seating space available. The room does have a tea kettle, a few instant coffee packets, and a small refrigerator. There are no options for breakfast on site, however restaurants nearby are easily accessible by foot and/or car. It is quiet and pleasant. I will definitely stay here again. :)

The staff went out of their way to help at all times. We’d thought it would just be a pub type place but the room was quite a bit larger than any we’ve had this trip. It was a real surprise. Breakfast was good too.

We always make a point of visiting The Cairn whenever we are in Scotland. The hospitality is absolutely amazing, especially the wonderful cooked Scottish breakfast. The owner is a brilliant host who is always warm hearted and friendly. We cannot recommend The Cairn enough.

The room was spacious and cosy, the bed was large ans comfortable. It was nice to have a table & chairs in the room. Lovely location - far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city, but a short car drive away from everything you might need. The grounds are doned with amenities to enjoy the outside, whether it is eating, having a drink, or reading a book.

The staff were amazing, and very helpful. The room was cozy and so comfortable. The food was beautiful and great service. A perfect stay.

In Cairngorm National Park, The Boat Country Inn and Restaurant has a restaurant, Wi-Fi access and elegant rooms. Aviemore can be reached in 10 minutes by car.
