A great spot in Axminster. This Bed and Breakfast is a true gem. The whole place is beautifully decorated throughout, has a comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom , excellent breakfast. Fiona is a very good hostess , a good communicator and overall provides guests with a great experience. Highly recommend this place

What an unexpected surprise! Not going to lie, the lack of other available options along the Jurassic Coast took us on an hour detour to Colyton - and so happy it did! Everything is literally brand new and meticulously decorated. Genuine and warm hospitality, led by the incredible manager Sarah!

I absolutely loved everything about Louma. The food is outstanding – you can truly taste the freshness of the ingredients. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and the all-inclusive concept makes the whole experience so effortless, as you don’t have to worry about a thing. The wellness area is incredible, and the gym is even better equipped than my regular one! But what makes Louma truly special is the people and the place itself. It feels magical – with stunning sea views, a calming and friendly atmosphere, and impeccable yet cozy décor. Travelling with a baby, I was deeply impressed by how well-equipped Louma is for families. They provided everything: a baby monitor, crib, bath tub, toiletries, diaper bin, high chair… every detail was thought of. As new parents, it’s such a joy to be able to enjoy a luxury retreat with all the comfort and elegance we love, without compromising on peace of mind or packing endless baby gear. Louma is, without a doubt, one of the best luxury retreats for parents with good taste, who love to enjoy life and share it with their kids.

Fantastic location! Breakfast was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. As soon as you step out of the door, you can see the Lyme Regis beach down the lovely, quaint high street.

    This is a lovely wee village with some amenities, small shop in the garage open until 7pm. There is a great village pub (Talbot Arms) for good food and an evening drink. Very close to Lyme Regis, relatively easy walk but need a car to visit other areas.

    Uplyme is a charming countryside destination with scenic walking trails with good local pubs to eat or drink along the way. and a peaceful atmosphere. The lush greenery and quiet surroundings make it a great escape from city life. The proximity to Lyme Regis is a bonus, offering easy access to the coast while still enjoying the serenity of a rural village. A delightful place to unwind!"

    Uplyme is just outside Lyme Regis and very picturesque.

    Uplyme is just outside Lyme Regis and very picturesque. Situated in a very quiet area surrounded by beautiful countryside. With your own transport it is ideal for exploring the coastline and inland attractions.

    Cottage was much more affordable compared to cottages in...

    Cottage was much more affordable compared to cottages in Lyme Regis. Lyme Regis only a short distance from Uplyme. Difficult though if you dont have own transport. Had to walk in the dark from Lyme Regis to Uplyme due to taxi being unavailable. Not impressed by the pub in Uplyme. Busy street makes it difficult for children to get to the park.
