A pleasant, comfortable hotel with an excellent location. The staff and management are super friendly and on the guest side. They solved my problem caused by Air France and did not charge anything extra. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The best English breakfast ever. Very nice and friendly staff, they helped me to get my luggage up to second floor (there's no elevator). The bed is big and comfy and big shower cabin. The hotel is very close to the beach and metro station.

The location was amazing! It was my 40th birthday, and we were long due for a break, so our choice of going to Sunderland came out perfect with our stay at Roker Hotel. Roker beach was less than a 10 minutes walk, and we had a myriad of options for places to eat and drink. The hotel also had a lovely bar and restaurant, but we only ate once and got drinks twice there. There is no particular reason for this, as we were just a bit up and about during our stay. The staff were very nice and pleasant, always willing help. We'd definitely stay at Roker Hotel again...

    Nice secluded place.

    Nice secluded place. Once the cars were in the patio area and the gate closed, it felt so peaceful. Shopping was a short walk to The Nook. Spectacular coast starts just a short drive to Marsden. Turn left and you come to Gypsies Green where the Great North Run ends.

    it wasnt the best or safest place to stay the front door was broken and the directions take u to a park .not a b and b or hotel student accomadation plus it stunk of dampness,would never ever stay here again absolutely rotten
