This is a great stay. The house is clean, light and airy, with a large open living space. The most important part of any let is: are the beds and couches comfortable? YES, in both cases. The house is well provisioned, with thorough documentation in the welcome folder. Not just milk welcomed us, but also crisps, chocolate biscuits (fancy ones!), and Prosecco. The location is handy to the beach and the shops (I recommend Atlantic Fish and Chips), both about 8 minutes walk away. There is a 7kW EV charger available to use for a small fee, this is extremely handy if you’re holidaying in an EV, and much cheaper than using public rapid chargers. The host was available via SMS, and responded promptly to questions. I would recommend this property to friends and family, and would stay again. My only criticism is the shower mixer is very fiddly and time consuming to get right, sometimes it was impossible to keep on temperature. The host acknowledges this in the documentation, but I think it would be better to have it replaced with a thermostatic mixer and be done with it.

What a great place! I think they upgraded us to the Sandpiper Room, which was a spacious room with large bathroom. So nicely decorated and cozy, with a view of the ocean and some lovely multi-colored cottages across the street. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The in-house restaurant was perfect which we enjoyed dinner and breakfast from an ample menu.

We had a perfect stay from check in. We were welcomed by Nicky and shown to our lovely accommodation. The rooms in the lodge building were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was modern with a very powerful shower. Our evening meals and breakfast cooked by John were exceptional. The hotel is in a quiet location with countryside views and has plenty of free onsite parking.

Good for families.

Good for families. We stayed for a family wedding so didn’t spend too much time in Westwood Ho. Nice walks and several nice restaurants/cafes. Country Cousins was great, good food, friendly staff.

Nice beach, small arcade on front.

Nice beach, small arcade on front. Plenty of cafes and restuarants to eat. Few shops to buy groceries. Plenty of accommodation from caravans to chalets. Nice coastal walk and open air sea water swimming pool.

Immaculate, beautifully furnished, very comfortable beds, stunning view of the sea and land. Would recommend highly. Very near good eateries and the fish and chip shop handy too. Central position to tour the area. Enjoyed the Rectory Tea Rooms at Morwenstow- characterful building, great food and lovely welcoming staff. Also delicious food and lovely ambiance at The Bell Inn at Parkham. Yummy pasties at the shop on the left going down the street at Clovelly - fantastic village! Railway museum - a little gem - at Bideford and walk along river to Instow from Bideford is flat and easy on the old railway track. Lovely deli and cafe ‘John’s’ at Instow.

It is very easy to get around Westward Ho The tides coming in and out are some of the best in Devon. The Pier House is highly recommended. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is good

A lovely room which is set in a quiet location behind this busy pub. Very comfortable with a large en suite shower room. Decorated with local items. Plentiful tea/coffee for the well appointed room. Plenty of parking for guests and a superb location in the heart of Westward Ho! I felt very safe walking back to the hotel on my own at 11pm. The breakfast had lots of choices including real choice for vegans and vegetarians. Lovely coffees.

Stayed in these apartments a couple times now has everything you need location fantastic been going to westward ho for 30 yrs and always stayed at Braddicks but you’ve stolen me away can’t wait to come back ,could do with smart tv in bedroom for Netflix

On arrival, it was so good to have milk in the fridge to have a cuppa after a hectic drive. Perfect spot to park car up for the whole stay and stroll into Westward Ho! Sea views from accommodation was lovely to wake up to.

Great location in the centre of town. The apartment is spacious and we appreciated the 2nd loo. My brother appreciated the coffee machine and pods. Great place to stay if you want to be right in the heart of Westward Ho!
