Whitchurch was a lovely village just off the main road.
Whitchurch was a lovely village just off the main road. It’s a great base to visit surroundings areas like Titern Abbey and Monmouth. The village has a fine dining restaurant called The Potting Shed, also a general store with a lovely coffee shop called Woods of Whitchurch. Within a ten minute walk there’s a hotel that serves food all day a butterfly zoo and a river Wye boat cruise. There’s a 20 minute country walk that takes you to the Ye old Ferrie Inn an enchanting place with great food and splendid views of the river Wye. Whitchurch has a lot to offer slight road noise but it’s certainly shouldn’t put any visitors off.Guest review byChristineUnited Kingdom

The room was great as were welcoming touches - lemon drizzle cake, (Yorkshire) tea, biscuits in room. Use of the fridge also very convenient. The location is excellent. Symonds Yat and the Wye close by - great if you're an angler during river season!! Breakfast from Woodies (Whitchurch) is fantastic. The beds were fantastically comfortable. The welcome touches were lovely and we will definitely be back to stay again.
