Everything at this lovely village hotel was perfect. The service from every staff member was exceptional - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely - pretty English country style. Just perfect for our first night in the UK. Both dinner & breakfast were delicious. Very generous servings.

Great location in the heart of Woburn, Bell tavern across the road which serves breakfast and a great place to have a meal or a drink. The room was very large and well appointed, Claire who checked us in was very friendly and knowledgeable. stayed here in 2018 and was not disappointed with our return visit.

Perfect location with free parking. Very friendly staff. The building is from 17th century and for us was very interesting to see how they have managed to modernise it. Very clean and cosy. We couldn't use the restaurant as the new chef had to start a day after our stay but we've met him and he seemed very exited with the preparation of the new menu.

I was looking for hotels in Northampton and the add for Mitchell Hall popped up. I booked thinking it is in Northampton, but Mitchell Hall was 30 minutes away from Northampton. It felt like false advertisement. Other than that, my stay was awesome! The room was very nice and bed very comfy. The food was very delicious. And the manager on shift was very helpful and accomodating and helped me by explaining how I can get to Northampton by bus if I needed to, as I drove my car. He was quick to resolve any issues, and also let me borrow a HDMI cable during my stay! Great manager!

From when Adam opened the door ,the place was absolutely beautiful. Adam is so welcoming and lovely . Room was just wow and all the little extras Breakfast, was so lovely ,fresh fruit all so fresh and the homemade marmalade was wow ,the lovely Adam gave me some to bring home. We will be going back .

Characterful location, the village looks interesting and...

Characterful location, the village looks interesting and deserves exploration. Good countryside around and Woburn Estate feels like should give some interesting walks and scenery as well as the deer herd! I passed an interesting looking church on my departure and given time that looked to again be worth investigating. Not an area I have visited much in the past but my brief stay whet the appetite to return The Bell Hotel was a good choice to stay with reasonably priced accommodation in a character building with a good pub/restaurant on the opposite side of the main street which added to that character somehow. Woburn is a place not to be simply driven through!

It was excellent. Thank you Florina for organising. It was a very different experience to what one usually receives (staying in traditional commercialised hotels) The town was lovely and Adam was a wonderful host.

Woburn is beautiful, the safari is amazing!

Woburn is beautiful, the safari is amazing! The walking trails are beautiful! Green king takes advantage of this!! Road noise was horrendous 😱from around 4.30 am! The place was great but if I was to return if I couldn’t have a rear room I wouldn’t go!!

We stayed over to break the journey up from Newcastle to Kent. We went to Woburn safari park, it was amazing, drive around the safari as many times as you want up until an hour before the park closes, takes on average 1hr to 1:45 to do a circuit. Then there’s the walk safari which was ok. Nice leisurely walk. Would definitely visit here in the future.

Modernised but it’s an ancient inn, cute, lots of original features, not soul-less like the “chainstore” hotels. The room had new ensuite facilities & everything works as it should. The breakfast was SPECTACULAR ! Good value single, and big enough ! Good on site parking, close to the M1, but in the town-centre. Woburn is a very interesting little town with many small businesses & a museum, as well as many good walks, and the park, zoo & abbey nearby (Abbey currently closed for refurb. Check website).

We have stayed at this hotel several times and would highly recommend. It's in a great location in a lovely village with free parking, rooms are lovely especially the exec rooms and suites, food is top quality, staff are very friendly. Excellent value for money overall.
