Great location for a family holiday - there are plenty of restaurants and things for kids to do in Woolacombe or within a short drive. It was our first time to Woolacombe and it is now one of our favourite places! The beach is amazing and felt very safe having the lifeguards there. The town is great. Lots of lovely shops and places to eat. We had a delicious meal at The Jube and the best ice cream from Fudgies bakehouse. We also went to Barricane beach, what a hidden gem that is! Even the lovely man working in the carpark was great. Lots of places to park. We are excited to come back!Guest review byAnonymous - 10

What a lovely little town. Plenty of bars, cafes and shops of several different styles. However Woolacombe’s crowning glory is its beach, acres of golden sands, sand dunes, beach huts, beach bars & pebbled coves, is a beach combers delight! It’s definitely worth a visit! There is plenty of parking in either the car parks (£12) for a full day or kerbside parking along the front for £5.50 for a maximum stay of 4 hours!Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 10

Excellent resort. National Trust carpark great for evening picnic watching the sun go down. Great for pet owners miles of sandy beaches. Lovely resort well look after a credit to the council. It was perfect for us to stay in to visit extended family who live in Ilfracombe. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. As static caravan owners ourselves (in France), this was an exceptional place to stay.
