If your after a lovely quiet time away from the noise of life then this cottage is perfect. My wife and I would definitely stay again. Our 2 cocker spaniel loved it too. Although our stay gave the rest we needed, I could happily have stayed a few more days. The pub was in process of being refurbished which I am sure will be lovely but the cottage was so well equipped there was no need to eat out. Lovely walk in Wykeham Woods and we enjoyed walking along the old railway track to Hutton Buscel and to Ruston. Lots to do and only 11 miles from Scarborough and less to Pickering. Had evening meal food was good . hot and tasty Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice cooked fresh.
