Set on an old plantation, surrounded by jungle, the grounds are beautiful. All the staff and the management were very helpful and accommodating. The food and the cocktails are delicious. There's a lovely short walk you can do, The Spice Trail, that takes you through some of the jungle/forest where you can pick limes, mangoes and other fruit. The infinity pool is a great place to spend the day chilling and taking in the views. We stayed for two nights and I would highly recommend it as a place to unwind and achieve peace of mind. If we were to stay longer I'd probably recommend having a vehicle so that you can go off and explore easily, but as this wasn't our plan we didn't investigate as to what transport options are available so there may be some. Thanks for having us! We look forward to visiting again!

From the moment i booked to the drop off at the airport i can safely say this was one of the best overall places on this planet that i have ever stayed at. The complimentary shuttle to and from the airport with your 7 night plus stay was a blessing and i really enjoyed the company of the taxi driver "Mr.Lay" who picked me up and who was also availed of for other trips during my stay which was also a blessing-thank you Mr.Lay! The location was fairly remote but not remote enough for access to the many local shops for groceries,but remote enough to be away from the "rat race" which was what i was after. I was heartily greeted by Marcus,the proprietor and his 3 very friendly well mannered dogs,i was immediately struck by the properties surroundings from the large balcony,so green and lush and fresh. The room itself was large airy spacious and clean, with great air con,working fridge and microwave and a fab wifi connection. The shower room was large and the shower was hot and pumping and there were plenty of fluffy white towels of all sizes,and then there were the little practical trinkets and bathroom accesseries...shower gel,conditioner and shampoo,moisturiser,toothpaste kit,shaving kit,sewing kit,cotton wool and buds,i thought i was in a top class japanese hotel with all those little extras which got well used and came in well handy! After listening to nightly sound track of the crickets with the simultaneous coinciding firefly light show you will sink into the most comfortable bed ever with equelly comfortable pillows which smelt of the best clean linen smell which was as good as any camomile tea to send you to dreamland. meals can be prepared in the well equipped kitchen only feet away from your room,everything in there was clean and in full working order with plenty of crockery and cutlery. gas cooker,microwave,sandwich toaster,kettle,& a washing machine which came in well handy. housekeeping was excellant & the staff were so friendly.

I am not usually the type to write reviews, but our recent two-week stay at La Sagesse Boutique Hotel, Restaurant & Beach Bar deserves to be recognized for its exceptional care and rare magic. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. Our beautiful two-story, all-wood room felt both luxurious and warm, with air conditioning for comfort and an outdoor shower tucked under the canopy of beautiful trees — an experience in itself. In the mornings, we could step outside and be on a palm-fringed, white-sand beach in under 10 seconds. The setting was pure paradise: calm turquoise water, soft sand, sunbeds, kayaks, and snorkeling gear ready to use. The restaurant was exceptional, serving fresh local dishes, the daily catch straight from the sea, and vibrant fresh juices, it was a joy to dine there. At night, the space transformed — softly lit with white string lights, creating an atmosphere straight out of the most dreamy movies. What made our stay truly special was the peace we found here. We both work in high-stress environments, and for the first time in years, we were able to slow down, take barefoot walks along the shore, soak in the sun, and simply be present. Every detail seemed designed to make life easier and calmer — from the fresh water buckets with floating flowers outside each bungalow to wash off the sand, to the gorgeous decorative touches throughout the property. The staff were extraordinary. Every single person we met was welcoming, friendly, and eager to help. They arranged incredible excursions, and with their trusted driver, we explored the entire island. When I unexpectedly needed to see a doctor, they organized everything within minutes — calmly, efficiently, and with genuine care. That level of service is rare anywhere in the world. It’s telling that guests from other resorts would wander over, fall in love with the atmosphere, and decide to come back daily and spend their days at La Sagesse.

Absolutely amazing experience, the staff was friendly, the property exceeded my expectations, and the location was everything would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is in a quiet location, not right by the beach, but a short and pleasant walk brings you to the part of Grand Anse west of Camahogne park. The shortcut is through the Spiceland Mall. The staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. My room was just wonderful. It was on the ground floor, bungalow-like, with the view of the garden. It was airy, very clean, well equipped. I only stayed one night and I didn't get the chance to test the hotel's restaurant properly, but at my departure I was offered samples of three of their cakes, which were all very tasty. I would certainly consider staying here again should I return to Grenada.

Spectacular views, spacious rooms, modern

Location of Villa (we were in “Lemon”) which fronted the beach and had a lovely veranda with comfortable seating and a hammock as a bonus. Meals were taken outside on the restaurant balcony which overlooked the sea with wonderful views of nearby islands. All the staff went out their way to make sure our stay was one to remember. I would recommend visitors take the Sunday morning walking tour that for us ended in a beach bar in Duquesne Bay.

My wife and I celebrated our 1-week honeymoon here and we honestly couldn't have chosen a better spot. It might be basic compared to posh hotels in Grand Anse, but that's what we loved about it. It's clean, comfortable, quiet, and extremely convenient. The property has a vintage charm to it and it always felt as though we had the entire place to ourselves (we were even here on Canadian March Break)! We stayed in a well-appointed room on the 3rd floor with a beautiful ocean view, just steps from the stunning Grand Anse Beach. Although there is no longer a restaurant on site, we discovered some local food truck vendors just across the street, including "Francis Bits & Bites" which serves up a traditional Grenadian breakfast (salt fish bake and sea moss shakes, among other things). All staff were super friendly and hospitable, and were always available 24/7 at the front desk to ensure we had a lovely stay. A special thank you goes out to Debbian who was instrumental in helping us plan our honeymoon, including island tours with Dexter, an absolutely wonderful man. We would love to return one day to this slice of paradise! :)

Lovely, friendly, obliging staff. Nothing too much trouble. Traditional home-cooked food available next door for brunch or dinner.
