The other reviews are true, this place is fantastic. Food was excellent, well worth staying for dinner. The sisters that run the property are lovely, they cannot do enough for you. Nice little beach at the end of the road, they gave us a parasol and towels to take with us. The terrace where you eat breakfast and dinner is beautiful. It has a real family charm whilst still giving you all of the modern conveniences like air con and a great shower. Tap water is drinkable!

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. It’s located in a peaceful, quiet area—you don’t hear any noise at all—yet it's less than a 5-minute walk from the village, so everything is still conveniently close. The staff were warm and friendly, and our room was clean, comfortable, and refreshed daily with fresh towels. Free water at the front desk was a thoughtful touch. One of the standout features is The Pantry, located right on the property. The food is absolutely phenomenal, and their coffee is amazing—easily some of the best I’ve had on a trip. This hotel is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommended, and I would absolutely stay here again.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. In terms of service and excellence. The staff were outstanding going above and beyond to make our stay so special. We loved the complementary ferry transfer to and from the hotel which made our travel a lot less stressful. Breakfast was amazing serving all kinds of delicious food. The rooms were so clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were even greeted with a complimentary drink and snacks when we arrived. The views from the restaurant were amazing offering a beautiful sunset over Naxos. I could not recommend hotel Grotta enough and we hope to be back again soon . ❤️

Rena, our host was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of homemade items that were delicious...I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone for the location and the warm hospitality!
