We like apartments away from the big hotels, resorts and crowds and this is it. On Stegna beach which has plenty of tavernas and mini markets and beach facilities but not the big crowds (at least when we were there). The apartment is the last one of its type on the southern end of the beach so reasonably quiet but right across the road from the beach and all tavernas are in reach from 2 to 10 min walk along the beach front. The apartment on first floor is compact but fine for 2 people and even has a second bedroom with 2 twin beds. From the main bed you can see out over the beach. It has effective aircon if it’s hot as it is in Rhodes in summer. The owners are delightful : providing us cool watermelon and juice on arrival on a hot day and also leaving a variety of snacks and a bottle of wine. They check on you to see if you need anything else and provide advice on places to go and to eat.

We stayed for 4 nights at Salora Apartments in Stegna, Rhodes, and had a truly relaxing and pleasant experience. The atmosphere was peaceful, the cleanliness was excellent, and the apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed—including a functional kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. The air conditioning worked perfectly, making our stay even more comfortable. The location is ideal—just a 1-minute walk to the beautiful beach of Stegna. The garden is spacious, green, and a perfect place to unwind. Savvas, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He took care of every little detail and gave us great recommendations for local beaches, restaurants, and places to visit. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and welcoming place to stay in Stegna, Salora Apartments is a fantastic choice!

First of all, the house was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and our whole family loved the beautiful design. There were three air conditioners, and the place was already perfectly cooled down when we walked in. Many thanks to the owner for the fresh fruit and wine. The house had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom had reliable hot water and was very comfortable, and we even managed to do our laundry and dry it in the courtyard. Archangelos is a charming local area where you can enjoy delicious food at much better prices compared to Lindos or the Old Town. We found Stegna to be the best beach for kids. There, you can rent an umbrella and two sunbeds for just €15. We would definitely recommend this place!

If you're looking to get away from the crowds and stay in a friendly and hospitable family run guest house on the outskirts of a small semirural bustling town nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains then, this is the place to come. Wake up to olive branches swaying gently over the balcony with a mountain backdrop. As you leave, there is a vineyard opposite. Turn right and its a seven minute stroll into the hub of the town. Turn left and you can walk straight up a mountain to a monastery with panoramic views. Maria and Georgious are wonderful and cheerful hosts.
