It is a bit of an odd place.
It is a bit of an odd place. The beaches are beautiful and picturesque, however there are no facilities on the beaches (no sunbeds, beachbars or even toilets). Any beaches with facilities are private to the exclusive Navarino Resort, and therefore you have no access. A lot of it is a nature conservation area, which is probably why its so beautiful, and walking around is lovely, but there isn't much else to do. The restaurants are very good, and a cut above those we encountered elsewhere in Greece - bit more expensive but definitely worth it. From Gialova you can easily reach many beaches, we liked Divari, Voidokilia, Peroulia, Lambes, Foinikounta. You can eat extremely well at Elia in Gialobva, Riki at Marathopolis. Unfortunately we experienced a lot of days with high winds so the sea was not calm, although beautiful to watch, like in Ammothines.Guest review byChristaGreece - 10.0

Gialova is a lovely little seaside town. The pier and broadwalk offer a lot of choices for food and drink. Elia is a great place to eat. Their food is delicious and the prices are reasobable. Giavlova Cruises is an awesome company that offers trips around Navarino Bay and Gialova lagoon or if you would rather just go fishing you can make arrangements with them. Went out on their boat with them a couple of times while there and it was thoroughly enjoyable. They offer sunrise and sunset tours too. Dont pass this by.Guest review byRoseUnited States - 8.0

I have known this place for a long time.
I have known this place for a long time. Amazing natural beauty and good for walking and swimming. Gilaova is expanding at a great rate which makes me sad but means it offers a lot of facilities and places to drink and eat but rather sophisticated instead of simple tavernas. Rooms are very spacious, beds are for kings, kitchen with plenty items (a kettle would be nice though). The pool is great with bar on the side, with genuine stone around the edges that gives a nice touch. Car parking behind the complex is good to have.
