We have seen many places in many years, but our stay at Baba Houlakia definitely is among the most outstanding ones. And this is not only for the wonderful garden with palm trees, hammock, deck chairs, etc. - it is for the people! Elpida, Spyros and the whole team are so heartily people who will take care that your stay in Houlakia and on Mykonos will be as perfect as possible. Their hospitality is exceptional and we enjoyed the small talk and nice exchange every day. You can rely on their tips and they will help you with advice for any need. The suite is nicely equipped with cosy furniture and a nice veranda where you can enjoy the sunset. A perfect place, just a bit remote so that you´ll need a means for transportation, ATV, bike or a car. By foot you will need 15 minutes to Agios Stefanos beach with mini market and restaurants. You can also have breakfast, snacks and drinks at Baba Houlakia - all very tasty!

This was my second stay in San Marco and as always it was absolutely lovely, I had early check in with upgraded room for full sea view, extremely welcoming staff, easy free parking, loved upgraded new bathroom, driving to the city was easy as it's main road, definitely will come back to this beautiful hotel. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We spent a whole week here and it was a lovely spot to sleep, get some rest and spend some time while visiting the beautiful island of mykonos. This pension is located in a strategic location, very close to the airport and to mykonos town, without being busy. We always found parking right outside the pension, and our host was very very kind and helpful during our stay. He even offered us a breakfast, which was not included in our rate. We cannot recommend enough Pension Alexandra, the best place to stay if you’re visiting Mykonos.

The room had amazing sea views overlooking the windmills. The balcony is the perfect spot for sunsets. The room decor was nice, and there is Netflix and a safe deposit box. The hotel is walkable to Mykonos town and restaurants, supermarket, ATMs are all within easy reach. Breakfast spread was great. The food tasted great, and the staff were friendly.

What a beautiful hotel. From the second we were greeted at the airport for our free airport transfer, the level of hospitality we experienced at this hotel was second to none, and is definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed. The buffet breakfast was gorgeous, as was the meal we had at the hotel restaurant Koozen. The hotel is a little way out of the town but there was always someone on hand to give us a lift down if we wanted and it’s easy to walk / get a taxi / bus home later. The pool area was exceptionally clean and all staff are very friendly and attentive. We were sad to come home but really hope to return one day!

Mykonos Island is overpriced, over crowded and difficult to navigate. We only stayed overnight - thank goodness. We spent 6 nights on Naxos Island - which is BEAUTIFUL. Sandy beaches, peaceful, amazing food and quaint villages. We are so grateful we stayed there because we would have been disappointed with our first trip to Greece.

We stopped over for one night at White Rock hotel in Mykonos...

We stopped over for one night at White Rock hotel in Mykonos, on our way to Syros, a matter-of-fact booking which turned out to be a human experience. Our smiling hosts spared no effort to accommodate us in a spotless, comfortable room overlooking the sea. And even the few steps leading to it turned out to be no problem (fot my 89 years) thanks to the discretely but generous help of Elias. Yes let’s hope in a next visit soon!

Absolutely beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful! I like staying away from the main busy city yet still close enough to only be a 5 minute drive away. The people and food were wonderful. If you are a nervous driver, I do not recommend driving as the roads are very narrow with blind corners.

People are very kind, it is easy to walk around the area,...

People are very kind, it is easy to walk around the area, they have good food, they have a market, you can pack ... In short, they have everything you need for a vacation and you don't waste much time on the road. It is easy to get to the city center by boat and is cheap boiled. You have more opportunities to spend your time.
