New, modern, good location, everything needed was included, great pool, great host, gave us a lot of information, our flight was late so the host managed everything so we can stay until our flight. Good experience.

Perfect location, in a peaceful hill with view of the sea and mountains. Accessible 25 minutes bus ride to Chania city center and 15 minutes walking downhill to the hill. Marianna is super nice and was always available to help us! Never seen such an efficient cleaning lady, so everything was always very clean.

I loved everything about this hotel. At first sight - we just thought that everything was beautiful and clean. But then we realized that this hotel really cares about their guests and the service is really out of this world. Chris, that was in the reception majority of the time that we stayed there, always aimed for us to have the best time even though it rained while we stayed in the hotel for a majority of our visit. She and her colleagues always greeted us with smiles, giving us tips about where to go and how to get to those places. I know that it doesn’t sound like it’s anything more than ”regular” service, but when you meet people that treat you so good as they treated us in a 5-star hotel (and mind you - that doesn’t happen often since we mainly stay at 5-star hotels) then you appreciate the whole trip in a complete other way. Also, me and my boyfriend have worked within hospitality and service during the majority of our careers and we know that good service takes energy and commitment. If the manager of this hotel sees this review - please tell everybody on your team how great they are! Because we will be back in the fall again (booked another visit day 2 of our stay). And (!) not to forget to mention the spa. I got a treatment from Maria Hanaroli down at the spa and it was amazing! If you stay at the hotel make sure to get a treatment with her to make your trip even more luxurious.

There are two places I highly recommend for eating.

There are two places I highly recommend for eating. One is a restaurant called Arodou Restaurant, and the other is Znkag Bakery & Pastry (sorry, I’m not sure how to spell it in Greek). Both are very close to Anton’s Home.

Its a suburb with a busy main road of traffic, but away from the main road it is OK. Even on its main road the good restaurants we used were not spoiled by this. It is well equipped with supermarkets and shops. It has excellent bus links to Chania (route18). The apartment was located a little way from the main road - easy to reach it, but without the noise. I walked 3k on a road down to the coast one evening. The place grew on us.
