This remarkably well run property deserves a 10 because everything you need to enjoy your stay works .... cold fridge, instant air-conditioning, effective ceiling fan, intact fly screen, coat hangers with clips, comfortable beds and reliable wifi (think I even got messages while in the square). Across from the central square it's a small nest of studios with kitchenettes, many with sea views. Ancient dig themed front wall nice feature. Our newly renovated bathroom, a wet room, drained well, mirror had a blue tooth connection and useful magnifier. Huge roof top terrace with panoramic views of the port. You can relax there and appreciate the sea breeze on outdoor furniture. Plus there is a clothes hanging area with the cutest pegs for guests to use. Hosts Andrea and Irene attend to every detail, anticipate guests needs and have thoughtful systems in place to ensure everything in their control functions to a high standard. Extensive library of books in language order. Fabulous! Close to the night action at the square. Missing Andrea's good bathroom, evenly tiled floors and conveniently located power points already. All the restaurants we ate at in Lavadia port and beach front cooked up delicious food. Be ready to stay a while on lovely Tilos and eat out!

Vlada met me and two other guests right at the ferry and her husband picked up our bags soon after. We were all given a warm welcome. The room was beautiful, with a gorgeous mountain view and everything needed. It was a very relaxing stay and I would highly recommend!

ILIDII ROCK IS AMAZING! Everything from the location, staff, rooms, and views were exceptional. Maria was waiting for us at the port to collect our luggage, which they drove up to the hotel for us. The grounds were immaculate and decorated beautifully with flowers and cute touches all over. There is an adorable private beach with chairs to relax and even a place to go sunbathe on the rocks. They helped us with the rental of our Vespa and gave us advice on where to visit on the island. They are a family run hotel that clearly takes pride in their top-notch service to their guests. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel, as we can't wait to return and stay again. Thank you, ILIDI Rock, for making our time on Tilos a memorable one!

The location was excellent up a slight hill but we are two oaps and managed very well. The views were stunning and the balcony was massive with plenty of seating. The apartment was very clean with all you needed from toiletries to a washing machine.

Eleni Beach is a small family-run hotel right next to the sea. The hotel staff is amazing, especially Mr. Michalis helped us with everything. Great location right next to the sea. Has a cafeteria during the day for food and drinks. The island itself is relaxing - no loud music, great food, sometimes windy and has mosquitos but overall great.

A quiet town, which is what we wanted, but with a good selection of restaurants and food shops. We ended up cooking at our hotel more than eating out, just because of the quietness and the sea view. But the 4-5 times we did eat out the food was always excellent.

Everything is close by, bakery, cafes, supermarkets and beach. Great walking to be done outside town or even around the large bay also good electric bus which runs almost every hour to inland village or couple of beaches. Livadia is white washed, has a lovely feel to it and such friendly people there.

The hotel staff were very helpful when a ferry strike delayed my departure from Tilos by one day. Accommodating me with staying an extra night and lift to the ferry in the morning. Only found by chance a bus taking people to the Monastery on Tuesday at 10 am by chance. Cost 3 €.

Arriving in Livadia in the afternoon, you may get the...

Arriving in Livadia in the afternoon, you may get the impression that this island is not very nice and doesn’t have much going on. Be patient. Tilos is a place with little hidden gems and requires some exploration and time to get your bearings. I recommend you start your stay by taking a long stroll along the main waterfront. Be sure to go quite a way down the waterfront because there are more and more restaurants and bars as you proceed. The Livadia main square is quite dead in the afternoon, which is sort of a siesta time. It will come back to life in the evening. Take advantage of dinner time to enjoy the beautiful Greek island energy and ambiance in Livadia and along the waterfront promenade. After your first day, be sure to take a boat tour of the beaches. This will get you acquainted with the island and what it has to offer. Be aware that Eristos beach has campers and sort of a hippie vibe that is not for everyone. I recommend it if you enjoy nudism and a good swim — for that you should go to the very end of the beach where nudism is allowed. Otherwise, the best beaches were the ones we accessed by boat. Do not miss the museums— they are an important part of the experience in Tilos. And don’t miss the micro chorio and its bar at night — this is one of the highlights of a stay in Tilos.

Lovely location, quiet and not crowded but with enough people bars and restaurants to meet our needs. Locals very friendly, a lovely village feel. Livadia beach lovely and clean, great access to the sea, free sunbeds if you use the bars/ restaurants behind. Great place, definitely going again next year.

It's an attractive village with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Don't expect a lot of sophisticated shopping though. There are a few shops for ladies' clothes but men seemed to have been forgotten. I couldn't even find a t-shirt! Even in September it was necessary to book a table in the restaurants up to to two days before, which was a big surprise. The beach is pebbly and, although the water is clean and warm, it's difficult to get in, even with beach shoes because of the uneven surface and loose pebbles. There is a good bus service to other parts of the island but the buses can get crowded so get to the bus stop in good time. We did enjoy our stay. We didn't do as much walking as we would usually do however because it was just too hot at between 34 and 36 degrees.

Thank you for a lovely stay! Yannis and Kiki did everything to accommodate us and provide us with a lovely holiday. The hotel is right by the beach, the rooms are lovely with wonderful views, the beds are comfortable, and a little pentry/kitchen. The location is gorgeous and we spent our days swimming in the crystal clear water. Kiki checked in on us daily and we thoroughly enjoyed her lunch each day; the divine meatballs, the prize winning Greek sallad and other yummy dishes.

Beautiful apartment, clean and spacious with a lovely balcony for morning breakfast. Small kitchen with everything we needed. The photos are a true representation of the property. Aircon worked well and having a smart TV was a nice surprise. The bed was so comfy, I'd like to of taken it home 😀 located just up from the sea front which is a pebbled beach with clear water. Everything is near by and it's only a short walk 5/10mins from the ferry.

A lovely 20 min walk along the flat coastal path to the town of Livadia on Tilos, where you will find small friendly tavernas, cafes & bars. Fabulous views from our balcony, lovely owners who will pick you up & drop you off at the port, cosy clean room with air con, comfy beds & fridge. What more do you need? Stoney beach (beach shoes required) with crystal clear waters, the sea was lovely and warm. Everything was fabulous, we will return.

A fantastic property from which to enjoy Livadia. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the property is in an ideal location, with the beach, shopping amenities and bars and restaurants close by. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with a particular highlight being the large bathroom. There is a good-sized terrace with fabulous views. Highly recommended.
