In general south part of Aegina is much better than the northern part. Perdika is a really nice place to stay, close to Marathonas, Sarpa and Klima beach (by far go to Klima beach). Marathonas is good for families with young children as the sea is not deep. The visit to Moni Island is a very nice way to spend an afternoon swimming in clear blue waters. Great place for a quiet retreat and fabulous fresh seafood. The local people are warm and very welcoming. All the restaurants had a similar menu. Close to Aegina Town it has several excellent restaurants by the water . The comfortable apartment was only 5 minutes walk from the restaurants and cafes . The position of the apartment is wonderful with great sea views . The access to the apartment is via an external spiral staircase so anyone with limited mobility or very large luggage may find this difficult but the photos show the stairs very clearly . The sea is wonderful and there are sun beds and umbrellas to use for free. the room was very clean, there was cleaning service every day. The other part of perdika is 5 minutes from there and has all the restaurants and a supermarket.
