There is nothing particular that would bring or keep you in Platonas, but if you have your own transport, this is a very convenient base from which to explore the northern part of Corfu. If your idea of a vacation includes large crowds, and a bunch of cars, hotels, shops and tavernas lumped together, Platonas is definitely not for you.
