Al Thea offers the best customer service and top-notch facilities. We were particularly impressed with the swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious, featuring many unique dishes each day. The staff provided plenty of information and tips on the nearest beaches, which was very helpful. Our room (Room 4) was spacious, with a massive bed, air conditioning, and stunning views of the beach and the pool. We highly recommend this hotel! Please try to have lunch or dinner here as well. We had an excellent fresh fish prepared by the owner. Also, complementary figs on arrivals were the best in the world! 🙂 Thank you Maria 😍

The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The place is run by a mother and daughter who are both very kind and caring. It is well located, with a pool, in a calm setting close to the beach. The rooms are clean and well equipped, breakfast is included, and the meals are excellent!

This place was excellent. I had a big room with a comfy bed, air conditioning, kitchenette and large balcony. Staff were wonderful - answered all my questions and very friendly. The pool is amazing with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. I did not have breakfast included but I did pay for it one morning and the selection was great. Very typical Greek breakfast assortment. (Cost 9 €) The property is a good 20 minute walk to town - which I didn’t mind, but something to be aware of especially on a hot day.

Absolutely beautiful. The place is gorgeous, quiet with a perfect view of the mountains. It’s a 20ish minute walk to the beach, but there is bikes you can take to get there too. The owner is just absolutely lovely, she gave us some delicious figs , pomegranate and guave from her garden and was very helpful. We absolutely loved it here and stayed one extra night. The bed is comfortable, the apartment is super clean and quiet. We loved that it is a bit away from the tourist-bay at the beach. We definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed for three nights at the brand-new Sunrise Apartments in Karpathos and had a wonderful experience. We were among the very first guests, and everything felt fresh and modern, with stylish furniture and excellent facilities. The hostess, Anna, was exceptionally welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is ideal — peaceful yet conveniently close to everything, and it offers beautiful views. Free parking is also available, making it even more convenient for those with a car. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, tranquility, and warm hospitality in Karpathos.

The owner was really welcoming and helpful, generously being flexible with check-in/check-out times. The room was very spacious with comfortable beds, a kitchenette and bathroom. The location is great being a short walk from the main area in a nice and quiet side street. Definitely recommend !

Anna and Manolis are so friendly and can’t do enough to help. The house is wonderful and is set on the edge of a beautiful village - walking distance to a great taverna “Klimataria”. Within 15 minutes drive you can be in Pigadia for larger supermarkets and great butchers if you want to use the lovely bbq at the house. The pool is wonderful for a refreshing dip and the views are stunning, the house has everything you need and we miss it already! It’s super clean and has lovely personal touches, it feels like a home rather than a standard villa and it is clear that it is loved. So nice to be in a village and not in a resort, surrounded by Greek people and not us tourists! Loved it all so much, the peace, the garden, the village, loved Karpathos and can’t wait to return.
