My friend and I chose the Picnic to spend a relaxing week while she worked remotely and we left with warm hearts feeling like we had one of the best experiences of our lives. Gaby and Jochen were the kindest people, they helped us with everything we needed and made us feel welcomed. They booked us shuttles and tours, and helped us choose which places to visit each day. We chose to have dinner with them every night and the food was delicious, and their company was just the best! The rooms and facilities were absolutely incredible, really makes the GLAM of glamping stand out. They had reliable wi-fi, a selection of beers and drinks, the most delicious hot chocolate, surreal breakfasts every morning and the most breathtaking views. We were two girls and felt completely safe the whole time, we walked to San Marcos (50min each way), and explored all the villages around the lake — our favourite was Santiago! All of them are connected by public boat, and the tuctucs are always there for you. Tzununa is much more local than other villages such as San Marcos or San Pedro, and super easy to visit all of them.

What amazing hotel. This was my second time in Atitlan and last time I made the mistake of staying in a larger village. This time I chose a smaller village and Aviva hotel, and it was the perfect choice. The room was incredible, comfy bed, stunning views, tasty coffee and a terrace to relax. And the breakfast was sooo good. Run, don't walk to stay here if you visit lake atitlan.

Loved that the hotel is super traditional and offers temazcal, a very authentic Guatemalan sauna experience. Staff were great organizing a guide for a sunrise hike up to the Mayan nose viewpoint. They were also super accommodating about having to change dates twice. Really enjoyed their typical Guatemalan breakfast as well.

In my opinion the best hotel in San Pedro La Laguna you can stay at. Had a great time here. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an amazing view on the lake (Lago de Atitlan) from it's terrasse and from your balcony where you can relax in your hammock all day if you want. The hotel has also the most central location you can get. Close to some amazing cafes, restaurants and bars that are just a few steps away like: Sababa restaurant, Pita Sabij and Bar Sublime. Also the boats to Panajachel are almost at your doorstep. If I came back to San Pedro I will definitely stay here again.

The owner is the sweetest! This place has the best view of San Pedro. The breakfast on the terrace is lovely. But the room is the best of all! Two big beds that are very comfortabel. Great view on the lake from your bed. We loved it here, would definitly recommend to stay here.

My room was amazing!! Big, light, with a little kitchen and a good shower. The bed was definitely the most comfortable one in my 6 weeks traveling. The owner is very nice and the breakfast is great. The location is also very good.
