The accomodation was exceptional. It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Marija the host was very lovely and welcoming! We were greeted with a huge smile. Absolute gem, a little off the beaten path, but excellent for some down time when the crowds get too much. Our host Mare was exceptional, she catered for us with amazing local multi-course cuisine, superb presentation, accompanied by local wines and beers, all in house, surprisingly well priced. Breakfast was served with the same special treatment. Absolutely awesome experience, way beyond our expectations! The property is really good. We stayed in a room with a balcony and a lake view and the view was really amazing. It is very close to go to the lake and staff of the property is very friendly and helpful. They offer really amazing, homemade/fresh food in their restaurant. Since a lot of swimming places in croatia have stones and you need to have special shoes this lake was amazing because it is not stony and really comfortable to take a swim. It is very peaceful and good place for relaxing and meditation. Rooms are very clean and freshly done. The owner of the house offers a lot of different activities free of charge. This place is really amazing who wants to have peaceful vocation with a nice view and comafortable stay. The only disadvantage is that village by itself is located quite far from civilization and there are not so many places to visit around. To the closest market and village city is about 12 km but it takes to drive about 20 minutes.

The Hosts, The property is fairly new to Booking.com so no reviews. The Hosts have done their best to explain the accommodation on offer and its rural location. I initially was concerned as there are no restaurants within walking distance. I explained this, Gregor effortlessly arranged some local cold meats and sheep cheese, almonds grown on the property….plus the most amazing impromptu wine tasting, yes it’s a winery!!! He then drove me to the vineyard and almond plantation and left me to hang out there and make my way back to the Winery. Later he, Nina his lovely wife and their charming daughters brought me, home cooked goulash and spaghetti with home grown salad and local pastries. Breakfast was equally exceptional quality. I cannot recommend highly enough. I was made to feel like a member of the family and as a solo traveler that is priceless. Thank you x
