Very beautiful and quiet house, in the middle of Slavonia. It is a great option if you want to see Vukovar, Osijek and Vinkovci and can't decide for either of them, as they are all reachable within less than 30 minutes from here, or if you prefer the countryside. The house has everything you can possibly need, comfy bed, large living room, very spacious bathroom, big terrace, AC, and a big garden. The host greeted us friendly and we "talked" via translation app.

The house was immaculate and the owners of the house were friendly and happy to help or assist in any way possible. I have been welcomed with open arms and offered to eat and drink the local goodies.

In an era when hotels are teeming with fake hospitality, Materra knows what genuine human touch means. The wellness centre covering 1500 square metres envelopes the entire first floor of the hotel. Even though we did not try the holistic massages or rituals, we were amazed by the design, especially the sauna part. You will understand what wholeness means in this hotel. Exceptional!

This was a really nice little hotel. The room was very big, with a hallway, separate bathroom and toilet, and the room I was in even had a balcony. There was a fridge, and ample storage (I was in a double room for one person, but for two people, it would be fine too). The bed was comfortable, the lighting was good, there were enough sockets. For a three star hotel, it was really good value and quality. It was convenient for the conference I was at, though it's a bit of a walk to the city centre. There was offroad parking behind the hotel, which was very handy. There is a restaurant downstairs in the hotel, which I didn't use, but the breakfast was good, with a reasonable choice and a very nice cooked breakfast.

Built in 1889, we are located in the heart of Osijek, on the main square and our hotel has the oldest tradition in the city.
