Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches. The restaurants are good as well, and anybody can find something to pass the time. The nightlife is very active, there are many oppurtinites to have a party. Who is looking for a more quiet holiday, they should consider book their aparment away from the city center. The beaches are good but sometimes overcrowded. If you plan to visit other places in Istria, Porec is a good "home base". Everything is 50-70km away.Guest review byÁdámHungary - 10.0

Lovely town, great for exploring, beautiful walk around the old town with swimming spots all around. Great for shopping, lovely restaurants, easy to navigate and excellent parking. Along the harbour you can catch a boat trip which is easy to do and well worth it, whatever you choose. Poreč is an ideal destination for those travelling alone, with family or with friends. This town is conducive to relaxation from everyday life full of noise and tasks to be done. Beautiful and sunny weather is guaranteed, so I especially recommend this place to people who live in countries where cloudy and rainy weather prevails. In Poreč you can find many restaurants with traditional Croatian dishes, such as Ćevapčići and pasta with truffles. I recommend visiting places such as the old town, Jama-Grotta Baredine and a boat cruise with dolphin watching. Additionally, you can visit cities such as Rovinj and Pula.Guest review byAnnaPoland

He helped with our food ordering and recommended special dishes as we wanted to try local cuisine. Our Hostess was also very friendly and warm. Her smile was sunshine and she demonstrated warmth. The hotel is in perfect location as we walked everywhere and so quiet with no cars!!! We both loved our time in Porec and would recommend this hotel to all. Porec in general is extremely friendly with pets and they are welcome almost everywhere, i enjoyed that a lot! With booking a Valamar Hotel you can travel by ferry to the littel island where Isabella resort is and they have a pet friendly beach and even a littel dogpark there <3 My favourite part of the day ist breakfast and let me tell you- it was exceptional and i enjoyed it to the fullest!Guest review byKiraAustria
