The town was perfect size so walking is easy for everyone. Please note the cobbled streets can be a little slippery so fancy high heeled shoes are a No-No! The local people are kind and friendly and everyone is catered for. Great place with old narrow streets.
Great place with old narrow streets. We enjoyed them during the first day, the second day we took a half day boat (Red Island, Lin Fjord, Pirates Cave, Music, wine, delicious fish) and right after we left the boat, we rent electric scooters to go through the entire Punta Corrente and the next 10km. forests and beaches (two hours rent was enough). Rovinj is a beautiful city where walking around is a true pleasure. There is so much to see, and I highly recommend it. The city is exceptionally clean, with friendly people, and hospitality deserves every praise. Definitely a place to visit—you won’t regret it. The restaurants are affordable and the food is wonderful. In every restaurant we visited, the staff was very kind and welcoming. Restaurants were v good particularly El Bugador, Puntulina and Rio. Not the cheapest but the quality for what you paid was excellent. Some lovely bars to watch the incredible sunsets too. Marina was good to walk through and walks along to Zlatna Uvala (maybe give Grill Lovor a miss-overpriced and little choice but a lovely spot), instead try Punta Cabana just before -very chilled!Guest review byAlannaUnited Kingdom

The variety of the meals at breakfast/dinner is wide, and they cook well ;) The parking place is less than 5 min away from the hotel through the park, but at arrival/departure they will take you and your luggage from/to there by a small car if you wish. You can also see the sea from a large and comfortable sofa. The bedroom window overlooks a cozy side street, not noisy at all. Claudia welcomed us at the reception and we were immediately captivated by her cheerful and friendly personality. The breakfast is plentiful and very tasty in the hotel next to the apartment (we received a voucher from Claudia). Set in a boutique square in the old town with a wonderful cafe next door, run by 2 very friendly sisters. All the facilities were great and included a few treats. I loved the bed and bedroom … haven’t slept so well in years! Paola met us in arrival, helped us with our bags and showed us around the apartment.
