There is a small harbor from which you can set off on a trip to Split or Trogir. Slatine is a small town about 30 minutes from Slatine. It has a beautiful coast time with many apartments with holiday makers. The coastline is filled with restaurants and cocktail bars. A small and friendly village with bars and restaurants as well as a foot ferry to Trogir and Split. Both well worth a visit for the day. We didn't have a car so relied on trips to the small local shop or when we visited Trogir or Split to stock up with supplies. The three of about five restaurants that we ate at served very nice food. The lovely hosts Mieke and Ingo had thought of everything and the location was perfect as you could get to the crystal clear beach and to the villages restaurants and bars with ease. We were a group of 12 girls and each one of us have said that it was possibly the best holiday we've been on. Only a few minutes walk to beach and village restaurants. Vice, the owner, was super helpful and friendly. It was much appreciated to have some provisions including nice Croatian wine in the apartment as we arrived late. The pool was lovely. A fairytale view from the balcony, no crowds on the beach, and closeness to nature. A wonderful beach is just across the road, and if you take a walk, you’ll find plenty of wild beaches with postcard-like views. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The beach is literally a few steps from the apartment, sunbeds are provided. Parking in front of the house is convenient. Trogir can be reached quickly by car or bus, the ferry runs to Split and back a few times a day.
