The city is ideal for a short stay.
The city is ideal for a short stay. Pay attention to the gallery of Branko Ružić in the old town and the house of the writer Ivana Brlić Mažuranić in the city center. And there is a museum of Tambura, small traditional instrument that you must visit. On a top of all, next to the city is the river beach. I have enjoyed Slavonski Brod so much! We went there for a Sci-Fi convention with our friends for a day. We spent almost all of our time at the Brod Fortress near the city center. The fortress is beautiful, but if there are no events at the times, it can be enjoyed very quickly. A very friendly and supporting atmosphere in the midst of the town, close to the river and a public swimming pool. Many cafés and restaurants are close by but... you probably won't need them, because the coffee is very good right here and the meals also were delicious.
