Remarkable town. Busy, growing, a Mecca for entrepreneurs and established businesses, etc. Being located in an agricultural dominated environment - it offers much more than ones would expect: a folklore festival every year - called "Vinkovacke Jeseni". A small town typical of the Balkans with a river crossing...
A small town typical of the Balkans with a river crossing the village. There are dozens of cafes and restaurants in the city center. A convenient place to stay overnight if passing through the area. Note that not all locals are hospitable. We recommend avoiding the restaurant LU even though it is very cozy. The staff purposefully avoided us for 40 minutes probably because we didn't speak their language. We ended up not being able to dine there and missed all the other restaurants. We still managed to have a few beers near the river at Caffe bar Medusa where the staff were very nice and welcoming.Guest review byDianaNetherlands
