For the price we paid the room was great - overlooking the river, with a big terrace, comfortable bed and huge downstairs bathroom with hot water (not common in Bukit Lawang) - we loved it after the jungle trekking! Cosmetics were provided for our convenience. The restaurant served good food (better than some nearby places) and Bintang for a reasonable price.

I stayed here and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, right in front of the river, offering beautiful views and a unique atmosphere. The owners are extremely hospitable, always attentive and ready to help with anything you need. I booked the orangutan tour with them in Gunung Leuser National Park, and it was a magical experience — well organized and safe. You can tell they know the area very well and care deeply about both visitors and nature. The accommodation’s restaurant is excellent: fresh, delicious food with great local options worth trying. Without a doubt, I would return here in a heartbeat.

I loved everything about my stay here! The communication before my arrival was perfect. I was picked up at the airport by the owner. The next day I did the most amazing jungle trek with the guide Bryan - I can highly recommend him! The place was so clean and comfortable. And the owner has the cutest dog and cat! Wish I could have stayed longer!

I absolutely loved the staff and the whole place! Also the whole hotel area was super clean and well taken care of. Beautiful spot right next to the jungle where you can spot monkeys directly from the hotel yard. Also the jungle trek organized by staff was amazing as well as our guide.
