This resort truly delivers what one would expect from such a destination. I was delighted to have a unique travel experience, distinct from the usual city vibes. The staff at the resort are outstanding. Even though my vacation was brief, I left feeling at peace. The ambiance reminded me more of a village than bustling city shopping centers. Its distance from the city provides the tranquility and serenity I was seeking. It served as a reminder to slow down and embrace a more zen-like approach to life. :)

The resort is absolutely beautiful, it’s so peaceful and calm. We wanted a getaway from the world to chill and relax, just the two of us, and ROKA was absolutely perfect for this purpose! There’s no crowds, loud noises or many people. Just calmness and relaxation. The rooms are modern and spacious, nicely decorated and super comfy. We slept so well! Bathroom is modern and big enough. Air conditioning kept the room always at good temperature. The restaurant is very nice as well, with good sea view. The food was delicious every time we ate there, so breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service was excellent from morning until evening. The garden and pool are well kept, like everything else at this resort. The swimming pool is really nice during the day when it’s low tide and the sun is at it’s highest. We went kayaking and SUP boarding every day in the morning while high tide. The small island in front of the resort is amazing to see with the kayaks, the mangrove beaches were stunning. The water won’t get deeper than 1m at any point between the resort and island. We also took the kayaks a bit further from the beach to swim at a spot without so many shells etc. The beach is not very good for swimming, wouldn’t go barefoot because of tons of shells. The staff are friendly and always happy to help with a smile.

I will never forget the days at Trikora; all was beautiful and peaceful. The location is in the front of a clean and blue waters beach. I was delighted with the location; the staff was extra nice and always had a smile. I did have the unique opportunity to observe how little newborn turtles are brought to the sea; this was an unforgettable experience!! We had the most wonderful weekend celebrating our mom’s birthday at this resort. From the moment we made our booking, the staff was incredibly attentive—communicating with us promptly and politely via WhatsApp, making sure every detail was in place. They went above and beyond to make the celebration feel personal and special, including decorating my parents' room and surprising them with a cake and a heartfelt card. Throughout our stay, their attentiveness never wavered. They remembered our room numbers, brought us towels right after every swim without us even needing to ask, and always made us feel cared for without ever being intrusive. The resort itself is stunning—the beach house offers breathtaking views, especially at sunrise and sunset. The design and layout of the rooms are beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully done, creating the perfect setting for both relaxation and celebration. We also really enjoyed the free kayaking, which added a fun and active touch to the trip! My entire family thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and we left with nothing but positive memories. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a meaningful, peaceful, and beautifully curated getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Very quiet and comfortable. You can occupy the whole beach. Happy hour gives you very relaxing moments on the beach with good quality of food and drinks at very reasonable price. Restaurants are bit expensive, but a variety of breakfast is more than enough so we skipped lunch. Bringing food may be a good idea because rooms are equipped with a microwave.

Angsana Bintan is nestled along a private beach on Tanjong Said Bay overlooking South China Sea. It offers water sports facilities at its marine centre.

Great location and very close to the ferry terminal. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was excellent, particularly the nasi goreng and mie goreng. Great pool and the beach was also lovely. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again.
